James Stauffer

Jim plays a variety of roles in our department. Currently he serves as the Artistic Director of University Theatre besides teaching an assortment of acting courses and serving at the department’s undergraduate academic advisor. Jim is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA, acting in over 50 regional and national commercials and industrial films. As a proud University of Wisconsin-Madison Alum, Jim received his MFA in acting in 2003. He also holds a Masters in Theatre History and Criticism from Illinois State University and his Bachelors in Theatre from Bradley University.
