Rob Wagner

Rob Wagner has been involved in technical theater and productions for almost 45 years. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in theater from the College of DuPage (’88), a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from Northern Illinois University (’91) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Technical Direction from The University of Texas at Austin (’94). He pursued his professional career at most of the theaters in Milwaukee for over 20 years including four years at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and ten years at Skylight Opera Theatre. All that experience, over 400 shows in total, finally convinced him he had something to teach so he came to UW-Madison as a member of the Academic Staff nine years ago and has been happily sharing his knowledge with students ever since. “Ars longa, vita brevis.”
